Immigrate to Canada from Morocco with Expert Guidance

EverNorth helps Moroccan candidates who want to immigrate to Canada assess the most realistic route to Canada and build a long-term plan around Permanent Residence, employment and settlement.

Which Route Could Work for You?

We assess direct PR first. If that is not realistic, we look at immigration through employment.

Why Today

How to Move to Canada in 2026

Canada is increasing its focus on Francophone immigration, creating important opportunities for qualified French-speaking candidates from Morocco. For qualified Moroccan candidates, today’s Canadian immigration policy can create opportunities in two different directions. Canada immigration requirements vary by pathway and by the candidate’s profile.

Permanent Residence

Qualified candidates may be able to relocate to Canada directly as permanent residents through Express Entry, PNP and other Francophone immigration pathways. For some candidates, the overall process may be completed in approximately 10–12 months.

If Canada is part of your future plans, now is the time to understand whether you can join the thousands of Moroccans already choosing Canada as their new home.

Work Permit

Candidates who are not currently competitive for direct PR may benefit from the Francophone Mobility work permit.

Canadian work experience may then strengthen a future Permanent Residence strategy. That combination makes that opportunity particularly interesting for French-speaking candidates who want to immigrate and work in Canada.

Long-term objective
Permanent Residence Strategy

Use the strongest available route based on your evolving profile

If direct PR is not realistic, we assess whether Canadian employment and an appropriate work permit can create a stronger long-term PR strategy. For French-speaking Moroccan candidates, the Francophone Mobility Program may be particularly relevant.

The objective is not simply a work permit - it is a realistic path toward Permanent Residence.

How Express Entry Works

Canada uses the Express Entry system to select candidates for Permanent Residence and manage their immigration applications. Candidates receive points for different parts of their profile, including age, education, work experience, English, French, spouse factors and other qualifications. These points make up their CRS score.

Once your Express Entry profile is created, you enter a pool of candidates with your CRS score. IRCC regularly reviews the pool and invites candidates to apply for Permanent Residence based on the cut-off score of each invitation round.

For many French-speaking candidates in their 20s to 40s with a university degree, skilled work experience and functional English and French, a score of roughly 400–450 CRS points may be achievable depending on the profile. This range can be competitive for PR through Express Entry French-language category draws.

Amine’s Case

When Amine contacted EverNorth, we assessed his background and calculated that his potential CRS score was 415 points.

We prepared his Express Entry profile and entered him into the pool in February 2026. In March 2026, Amine received an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence.

After the invitation, our team finalized the required documents and submitted his complete PR application to IRCC within one week. IRCC processing took approximately 6 months, and Amine and his family received Canadian Permanent Residence in September 2026.

415 CRS → Pool in February 2026 → ITA in March 2026 → PR Application Submitted Within 1 Week → Permanent Residence in September 2026
Key Message

When several PR pathways are available, the smartest strategy is to choose the simplest and fastest one. Based on Amine’s profile, there was no reason to complicate the strategy with a provincial or employment-based pathway when a faster direct PR option was available.

The goal is not to use any available program — but to identify the strongest and most efficient path to Permanent Residence.

We Assessed the Whole Family and Found a Stronger Strategy

Youssef and his family hired EverNorth in December 2025. At first, Youssef expected to be the principal applicant because of his Master’s degree and extensive professional experience.

We assessed both spouses separately and found that Salma had the stronger Express Entry profile. Her younger age, education, work experience and stronger English and French produced a better CRS score.

We selected Salma as the principal applicant and prepared the family’s Express Entry application around her profile.

By February 2026, the application was completed and the family entered the Express Entry pool with 396 CRS points. In March 2026, they received an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence.

Our team prepared and submitted the full PR application, and the process went smoothly. In October 2026, Youssef, Salma and their family received Canadian Permanent Residence.

Hired EverNorth December 2025 → Salma Selected as Principal Applicant → 396 CRS → Pool February 2026 → ITA March 2026 → Permanent Residence October 2026
Key Message

The person with the highest degree or the most experience is not always the strongest principal applicant. By assessing both spouses, EverNorth identified Salma as the stronger candidate and created a better Express Entry strategy for the whole family.

We do not build the application around assumptions — we assess the whole family and choose the profile with the strongest chance of success through the easiest route.

When Mehdi came to EverNorth in January 2025, his CRS score was only around 356 points. With his profile at that time, we did not see a realistic opportunity for direct Permanent Residence.

Instead of stopping there, we built an employment-based strategy.

Within about one month, we matched Mehdi with a service company in Toronto for a position combining sales and technical service. We prepared the work-permit process, and Mehdi arrived in Canada in June 2025.

By July 2026, he had completed one full year of Canadian skilled work experience. That experience significantly strengthened his Express Entry profile and increased his CRS to approximately 422 points. By the end of July, we prepared and submitted his Express Entry profile.

In August 2026, Mehdi received an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence.

January 2025 → EverNorth Assessment → Employer Match → Canada in June 2025 → 1 Year Canadian Experience by July 2026 → CRS ~422 → ITA August 2026
Key Message

This case shows why the first strategy does not always have to be direct PR.

Canadian employment and work experience can materially strengthen a candidate’s future Express Entry profile and create a realistic path to Permanent Residence.

Karim had worked in IT for approximately 15 years with several companies in Morocco. His wife worked as a hairdresser and had no formal post-secondary education.

When Karim contacted EverNorth, his estimated CRS score was only 342 points, which was not competitive for the Express Entry draws we were targeting.

We assessed both spouses before deciding who should be the principal applicant. Karim’s wife did not have post-secondary education and did not have other profile factors strong enough to produce a better CRS score, so there was no advantage in making her the principal applicant.

Instead of relying only on his CRS score, we assessed Karim for provincial Francophone immigration opportunities and identified New Brunswick’s Francophone Priorities pathway as a potential PR strategy.

We also reviewed Karim’s IT background against the New Brunswick labour market and connected him with local employers and professional contacts where relevant opportunities existed.

After receiving the provincial nomination, Karim gained 600 additional CRS points, dramatically changing his Express Entry position.

342 CRS → Family Assessment → New Brunswick Francophone Strategy → Settlement Plan + Employer Connections → NB Invitation → Provincial Nomination → +600 CRS → Federal PR → Anticipated Arrival Spring 2027
Key Message

A low Express Entry score does not always mean there is no pathway to Canadian Permanent Residence.

By looking beyond the federal CRS score and building a New Brunswick Francophone strategy, EverNorth identified a completely different route to Permanent Residence for Karim’s entire family.
Job In Canada

Looking for a Canadian Employer From Morocco?

Finding employment from outside Canada can be one of the most difficult parts of an employer-supported immigration strategy. Almost all the candidates have the same question – How do I apply for a job in Canada from Morocco? How do I get a work visa for Canada from Morocco? EverNorth does more than prepare a Canadian résumé or tell you how to look for a job in Canada — we provide full-cycle assistance.

What We Do:
01

Employment Strategy

We assess your professional background against realistic Canadian opportunities and build the employment and immigration strategy together.

02

Employer Connections

EverNorth may connect or refer qualified candidates to Ontario employers within our employer network and professional circle when relevant opportunities are available.

03

Job Offer + Immigration

If you receive a job offer, we determine whether it can support an appropriate Canadian work permit and how that employment fits into your future PR strategy.

We Do Not Sell or Guarantee Jobs

Employment depends on your qualifications, available opportunities and the employer’s independent hiring decision. A job offer also does not guarantee work-permit approval.

If your strategy depends on employment and you do not secure the required qualifying job offer, we do not proceed with the immigration application — so you do not spend money on an immigration process that cannot move forward.

Settlement Support

Getting Approved Is Only the Beginning

EverNorth Can Help You Build Your Life in Canada

For many people moving from Morocco, immigration approval solves only the first problem.

After arrival come the practical questions:

Which school or kindergarten should my children attend?
How do I start a business in Canada?

Our support can continue after immigration approval. Working with professional and non-profit organizations across Ontario, we help newcomers understand relevant employment, settlement and financial-support programs and how to access them.

Which Pathway Fits Your Profile?

There is no single immigration strategy or requirements that work for every Moroccan candidate, and there is no single profession or maximum age to immigrate to Canada that applies to every pathway.

Your best pathway depends on factors including:

Age
Education
Professional Experience
English & French
Occupation
Ability to Secure Canadian Employment
Willingness to Relocate Within Canada

That is why we start with your profile rather than trying to fit every client into the same immigration program.

How the Assessment Works

Review Your Profile

We review your information and assess your immigration and professional profile.

02

Assess Direct PR First

We determine whether you have a realistic direct PR pathway.

03

Assess Employment if Needed

If direct PR is not realistic, we assess whether Canadian employment and a work permit could create a better route.

04

Build the Long-Term Strategy

If employment is part of the strategy, we assess your background against realistic Canadian opportunities, identify work-permit options and, where appropriate, connect you with local employers.

Questions & Answers

FAQ: Immigration to Canada from Morocco

The strongest route depends on your age, education, work experience, English and French, family profile and occupation. We assess direct PR first and then consider provincial or employment-based options when needed.

A low CRS score does not necessarily mean there is no pathway. Provincial programs, stronger language results or Canadian work experience may create a different strategy.

Yes. The spouse with the higher degree or longer work history is not always the stronger principal applicant. We compare both profiles before choosing the family strategy.

French-speaking candidates may have access to federal, provincial and employer-supported Francophone pathways. Eligibility depends on the candidate’s complete profile and the requirements of the program.

The amount depends on the program and family size. Applicants should account for any required settlement funds as well as government fees, language testing, medical exams and other application costs.

There is no single age limit that applies to every Canadian immigration program. Age affects Express Entry CRS points, but language, education, provincial nomination, employment and spouse factors can also materially affect the strategy.

Some candidates may qualify for a Canadian work permit based on a qualifying employer and an applicable work-permit program. For eligible French-speaking candidates, Francophone Mobility may be relevant.

The number changes from year to year and depends on which immigration categories are counted. The final French landing page should use the most recent official IRCC figure available at the time of publication.

Canada requires travellers to declare currency or monetary instruments of CAD $10,000 or more when entering the country. Moroccan currency-transfer and foreign-exchange rules should also be checked before departure.

First determine which spouse should be the principal applicant and which program best fits the family. The application must then include the required forms and supporting documents for the principal applicant, spouse and dependent children.

Your Next Step

Your Canada Strategy Should Not End With a Visa
